This is a real bummer. No other writer could make me laugh at the darkly absurd in one sentence and make me so horrified or depressed with the next. I really can’t think of any other writer I like that has such extreme power without blatantly trying too hard or coming off manipulative. Mr. Crews is always in control, but his voice seems so effortless. Well, my day is shot. I read SO MUCH Crews at the height of my depression. He even influences my comedy writing. I can’t even….
